Almost Collapsing Balance(2020- ongoing)

This series, “Almost Collapsing Balance”, began in 2020, just as the COVID-19 pandemic was first unfolding.
It serves as an autobiography for me, a record of the moments of anxiety, pain, and hesitation in my life, which explains its slow development.
I merge the structure of puppets with the vocabulary of sculpture to create these figures—bodies fraught with intense tension and perpetually on the verge of collapse.
The act of creation itself is a process of self-healing; carving the wood is like inscribing personal memories. Simultaneously, it is a medium through which I can gaze outward to others and connect with broader social issues.
