I have consistently been concerned with the disciplinary regulation of the body in society and history.

Through oral traditions and inheritance, rituals and myths define the taboos, impurity, and virtues of secular life. My series of works, Rites of Seasons, aims to re-interpret these practices.

In this series, I have re-enacted the ancient Greek festivals of Adonia and Thesmophoria; I have also engaged with the narratives of hysterical women in the Victorian era, the Succubus who seduce men and women, and the world of the cyclops whose eye was blinded.

My aspiration is to perceive the reality that has not been archived by history, and to empathize with the vulnerability of the stigmatized.
